DFY doesn't mean you aren't involved or that there isn't any work required on your end. As much as I wish I was at times, I'm not a mind reader. We'll need some 1:1 time to get down to the nitty gritty. 

DFY requires a bit of trust on your end. You're hiring an expert (hey, that's me!) to come in and handle things for you like Olivia Pope (first season, obvi). You've gotta have faith that I'l use all my powers, skills, and knowledge  to deliver the BEST copy I can.

Ok, my process isn't the same as the 76ers process - but it's just as important, I promise.

INitial Video Call

Yes, I said video. I don't care if you haven't washed your hair or you're not feeling well - the face-to-face is soooo important. We'll talk for 15 minutes to help me better understand your project and how I can help you.

Time to Propose

Now that I've seen your beautiful face and gotten to know you better, I'll prepare a proposal just for you! Ideally we'll hop on another quick call for us to go over it together to make sure everything is above board.

Make it legal

Time for the legal stuff! I send you a contract and invoice, detailing all the super cool stuff we're going to do together. You sign it, pay it, and move on to step 4.

Let's Dig In

Here's where we really get into it. You fill out my proprietary questionnaire, then we get on a video call to go through it step by step. This how I'm able to dig in to your brand, voice, and core of your offer. We'll go through any questions you or I have, and then the magic begins.

Live Edits

Once I've had my way with the deliverables, we schedule a time for another video call to do live edits. I learned this secret from another top-notch copywriter and I LOVE IT. Doing live edits together means: a) you get revisions immediately b) I get genuine feedback c) you're part of the process.

If your project needed more work, in-depth edits or changes, or just some more work, I go back in and clean things up before we do another round of live edits.

We do a final wrap-up call, you fill out the debriefing form, and then you launch your killer new project - and I anxiously await hearing all the amazing results you're going to see!!

I think so! This process always works for my clients. In fact, the only projects I've ever had not be a success were the ones where we didn't follow my process - either because the client was in a rush, or they didn't like video calls, or whatever.
